Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing guidance and support to students, clients, or patients, with the goal of helping them navigate their educational, career, or personal challenges. As a Senior Counsellor, you will be responsible for conducting one-on-one sessions, developing personalized action plans, and providing ongoing support to ensure the success and well-being of those you counsel.
Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one counselling for academic, career, and personal issues.
• Develop personalized action plans and monitor client progress.
• Conduct assessments and maintain confidential records.
• Lead workshops and seminars on relevant topics.
• Collaborate with colleagues and provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Stay updated with the latest counselling practices.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree, Counselling, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of counselling experience.
• Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
Extra Qualifications:
• Additional certifications or training in counselling, education, or student services will be considered a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with students, parents, and staff effectively.
• Experience in guiding students through career pathways or academic options is desirable.
